Training for improving reliability of Service Level Benchmark

Location: MC Shimla, Shimla

GIZ is currently supporting Himachal Pradesh State in the preparation of State Sanitation Strategy and Shimla City in implementation of selected CSP components. Under this GIZ has supported MC Shimla for improving reliability of SLB indicators.

As part of this support a detailed study on current SLB reporting and data management system at MC Shimla was conducted. To discuss outcomes of the study on SLB and improving current practices of data management at MC Shimla GIZ organised a training programme for officials of MC Shimla on 22nd March 2014 at Hotel Marina with the support from CRISIL.  The training mainly focuses on methods for improving current system of data collection, practices of data reporting and reliability of SLB indicators. Various data collection and updation tools were also discussed specific for MC Shimla for regular updation of data. Participants were officials from MC Shimla responsible for SLB reporting from water supply, sewerage, SWM and storm water drainage Department.
